Appetite Five Dock is seeking causal front of house team members to join our team over the Christmas season (December 2020 / January 2021).

 

We are seeking confident and energetic front of house team members to join our fast-paced cafe. You must be ready for a challenge, take great pride in helping provide an excellent customer experience and have a passion for serving customers with a smile at all times. 

 

Although experience is preferred, it is not essential as we provide extensive “on the job” training. From your first day, you will follow our direction, to ensure you have the all right tools for the position.

We have on offer casual positions with the possibility to become permanent at the conclusion. Due to the nature of this industry and our strong focus on team building, we preference industry focused candidates. We offer ongoing support, training and development and staff meals.

 

We will be closed December 25th and 26th. We will be open all other days, including all public holidays. Only those with full availability, including all public holidays, need apply.

 

About you:

8.     Ability to maintain product presentation with a fine eye for detail

9.     Clean - Strong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety Standards

 

About the role:

 

1. Thorough cleaning of the front of house, including sweeping and mopping.

2. Polishing crockery, glassware, cutlery, etc. and make sure they are stored appropriately

3. General cleaning and sanitising workstations

4. Assisting in creating juices, milkshakes, and smoothies

5. Serving, clearing, and re-setting tables.

6. Taking customer order accurately and using a POS to give orders to kitchen.

7. Weekend availability is a must.

8. Able to work along side and under the direction of management.
