Appetite Five Dock is seeking a Cook (minimum 25 hours per week) to join our team.

 

We are looking for strong, confident and energetic Cooks to join our fast paced, well kept kitchen for day shifts, including weekends. You must be ready for a challenge, take great pride in the meals you prepare have a passion for cooking and with constant attention to detail.

 

The successful applicant will have the following:

1. Work with a sense of urgency and fast paced

2. Experience in breakfast service

3. Competent Knife Skills and Food Processing experience essential

4. Strong work ethic and attention to detail in all areas of your work

5. Impeccable presentation, hygiene and grooming standards

6. Commitment to the highest standards of cleanliness

7. Previous experience as a Chef/Cook/Kitchen Hand with Excellent knife skills

8. Strong communication skills and grace under pressure

9. Have a passion for hospitality

10. Be creative!

 

We are not a massive venue but we are a cafe known for quality, speed and service.

​

This is a part time position of a minimum of 25 hours per week. Due to the nature of this industry and our strong focus on team building, we preference long term candidates. We are open Monday to Sunday from 6am until 4pm. We offer ongoing support, training and development, public holiday penalties and staff meals.

Below is the roster we need to fill - this will be the roster for the successful applicant/s.

​

Roster: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday - Extra days and alternate weekends available for the right candidate.

8. Able to work along side and under the direction of our chef.
