Appetite Five Dock is seeking a Kitchen Hand to join our team.
We are seeking a confident and fast Kitchen Hand to join our fast paced and well kept kitchen. You must be ready for a challenge, take great pride in helping maintain our excellent 5 star cleanliness rating with constant attention to detail.
Although experience is preferred, it is not essential as we provide extensive “on the job” training. From your first day, you will follow our direction, to ensure you have the all right tools for the position.
This is a part time position but full time is available for the right candidate. We are open Monday to Sunday from 6am until 4pm. We offer ongoing support, training and development, public holiday penalties and staff meals.
We will pay above award for the right candidate.

About the role:

CLEANING. CLEANING. CLEANING.
As well as the everyday general cleaning (service dishes such as glassware, plates, cutlery, pots, pans etc.) and sanitising of work stations, this role will focus on, but not limited to:
-
Sweeping - Under the fridge, sink, freezer, prep counter, stove, grill, flat plate, deep fryer, combi oven, hand sink, dry good shelf, packaging shelf and walk in fridge.

Mopping – Bleaching and scrubbing the floor

Garbage & recycling – removal and maintenance
-
Walk in fridge
-
Combi Oven
-
Deep Fryer
-
Grill
-
Stove Top (grates and burners)

Walls & splash backs
-
Pots, pans & shelving
-
Sinks
-
Dishwashing area + dishwasher - The dishwasher filter and trays must be cleaned, rinsed and free from any solids, which means, cleaning by hand.
