Appetite Five Dock is seeking experienced waiters and waitresses to join our team.

 

We are seeking confident and energetic Wait Staff / All Rounders to join our fast-paced cafe. You must be ready for a challenge, take great pride in helping provide an excellent customer experience and have a passion for serving customers with a smile at all times. 

 

Although experience is preferred, it is not essential as we provide extensive “on the job” training. From your first day, you will follow our direction, to ensure you have the all right tools for the position.

We have on offer part-time and casual positions. Due to the nature of this industry and our strong focus on team building, we preference long term candidates. We are open Monday to Sunday from 6am until 4pm. We offer ongoing support, training and development, public holiday penalties and staff meals.

About you:

3.     Professional presentation and personable – this is a front of house role and you will be the face of the café!

8.     Ability to maintain product presentation with a fine eye for detail

9.     Clean - Strong awareness of Hygiene & Food Safety Standards

 

About the role:

 

1. Thorough cleaning of the front of house, including sweeping and mopping.

2. Polishing crockery, glassware, cutlery, etc. and make sure they are stored appropriately

3. General cleaning and sanitising workstations

4. Assisting in creating juices, milkshakes, and smoothies

5. Serving, clearing, and re-setting tables.

6. Taking customer order accurately and using a POS to give orders to kitchen.

7. Weekend availability is a must.

8. Able to work along side and under the direction of management.
